I can imagine he spends way to much time with them pigeons.

*Smith enters the room* Pigeon ''cooo cooooo''

Smith ''I lost Tony....he was cheating n' stuff..headbutting me, such a dirty fighter lad''

Tony the Pigeon replies with emotionless stare ''cooo coooo''. Smith says ''arh i hear that kidda, thanks pal. I could see fear in his eyes when they gave him belt. He knows in rematch i'd beat him. The ref just wouldn't let me wrestle him onto ropes....i'd destroy him though Tone...my one punch power would destroy him...i be champion again mate..''

Tony ''cooooo'' Smith then says '' Yeah i think Frank knows it, he wants me in London on monday. I think he will give me a rematch, he knows what i'm about. If i don't get a rematch then i want world title shot''

Tony the pigeon sick of hearing Smith's **** repeatedly flies into wall and tops himself.

Wow. That's a whole lot of delusion right there. They could fight 100 times and Smith still wouldn't win a round, let alone a fight. Smith is leagues below DeGale and Saturday night proved it. Pipe down, move on and get back to your level.

  7. Hey, you leave Rebecca out of this. She's gonna have a better career than Matt anyway. She didn't have to win.

I wouldn't give a cocky ***** like Degale any credit either even if he did whip my ass.

Think people need to remember the man will probably be angry and have massively dented pride coming off his only stoppage loss. There wasn't much wrong written apart from the confidence thing.
He readily admits his short comings in the fight.
I think he has more he can do in the game, but reading between the lines it looks like a mixture of being disappointed in not delivering in the night, in front of his own fans, and being stopped.
I think the man wanted the chance to finish the fight to be fair.
We tend to view fights and the aftermath of them without the pain, and without the bruises. His reaction is not surprising, but does not make anyone a ******. He ain't the first.
Worst loser in the world is mallignagi!
This comment does not change my opinion of the fight though.

I don't remember him saying he'd lose every round and get stopped. I must be getting old

I understand he's disappointed, and he has a point about the fouling, but he was just outclassed. I think he's right about DeGale's power though.

I don't think Degale has great power either but he did wobble Smith a few times and if he had forced himself upon him could have forced the stoppage sooner. I think it's the speed and angles that makes his power felt, the punches aren't seen. I don't think a lack of power is going to hinder Degale tbh.

I think it will against better fighters than Smith. Without power it's hard to keep guys off. And DeGale isn't that elusive really.
