Watched the video earlier on the website - good interview, great to see a glimpse of the banter in the gym too. Looking forward to seeing Paul get back in title contention :bbb
I have been begging for Smith to move to Middle for years. At that weight he can still become a big threat to the world rankings and I wish him all the best. Please stick with it Smigga and come back smaller, faster and stronger.
I think he makes a good point in the interview about not just dropping the weight for the sake of fighting at middle. The strength needs to be there also. I think what a lot of peoples problem with smith has been the fighting at smw was seen as an easier option in terms of making weight and opportunities. It's great to see a rededication to the cause.
Good video...:good Hope he does well on his comeback...:yep He is amongst some good fighters in what appears to be a very happy team...:yep
doubt joe g will be able to change much, smith is a 1 trick pony, decent british level fighter no more
Great guy Paul Smith. He is Liverpool's current fighter, he's the one leading the way like John Conteh did. I never used to like him, but when i watched one of his last interviews before the Degale fight. The things he was saying resonated with me. I've stressed for years, that he should of been fighting at Middle Weight. He was carrying puppy fat at Supermiddle Weight, and he's a very small guy for the weight.
