Paul Smith is an absolute sh*t talking clown who has done nothing of note (yet again) to warrant this title shot.

The only respect Paul gets from me is the basic respect all men should get if they step into the ring to fight, and thats where it stops, he's constantly talking sh*t on Twitter and he can't take any constructive critiscism, and he's just a div in the way he comes across.

People moan about Billyjoe and how he carries on but imo Paul Smith carries on exactly the same, if not worse, and at least Billyjoe can actually fight!

Pauls more of a talker than a do'er and he is way out of his depth at world level, he knows his lane, its just a shame he thinks he can drive out of it and travel with the big boys. None of the Smiths are as good as they think they are and they all have this backward feeling of entitlement. Callum Smith is the best of the lot and in my opinion he is overrated, he is talked about like he would beat a prime RJJ at SM by some...

 

Has no chance against any of the current SMW champs IMO (assuming Groves beats Chudinov, but even then I'd fancy Chudinov against Smith Jr).

He was arguably hard done by against AA (although I did score the fight for AA when I saw the fight). But he can't beat any of the current champs, no chance. And who will he box? Ramirez? He'll get beaten easy and AA is his mandatory now I thought.

 

Chudinov would beat Smith, Smith the Twitter terroriser isn't troubling anyone at this stage

 

How the hell is this guy getting another shot at a title, he's ranked 39 on boxrec and the list of bums he's beat is beyond embarrassing. It just shows its not what you know it's who you know.

Then Smith beat Kubin 18-18-2, then he beat Grafka 17-20-3 and then he beat Regi 20-13-0.

Paul smith Jnr should not be in line for a shot at a world title it's really just as simple as that as bellew would say

Agree with the OP, Smith's latest reign of terror deserves another shot asap after he was robbed against AA and Ward

 

I've never known a British level fighter get as many chances at the top guys without ever posting a decent win.

 

Its amazing how deluded Paul Smith really is, he genuinely believes he is a force, its ridicolous

 

I agree he has seemed to get world title shots quite easily

But he did put up a good effort against Abraham, a lot better than I thought he would

I like the guy and he is a great commentator

 

Paul Smith's best performance is losing to a shot Arthur Abraham. He got completely outclassed in the rematch.

How does he keep getting world title shots? He's a British level middleweight and always has been.

 

I personally think he's Euro level. In my opinion he beat Abraham in first fight but I don't see him beating any of the full works champions tbh. He's a good commentator and comes across as a nice guy.
