Paul smiths reaction after his fight was not good to say the least, how does beating tommy tolan, tony Dodson, Jamie ambler and David Arabia ******t a shot at the wbo championship. What I'm trying to say is he should just have been thankfully he had a chance to say he was robbed is a over exaggeration

    Agreed.

He never in a million years deserved the title shot. Was disgusting that someone who isn't even in the top 5 domestically somehow got a shot simply because Abraham saw it as an easy pay day.

He's fishing for a rematch, which he might actually get. I doubt he really feels as bitter as he makes out.

He was obviously making such a noise as he see's the money for a rematch as a nice retirement nest egg

And no he wasn't robbed but he did push AA close and no one could say he doesn't deserve a rematch

:hi: I don't think he does. He didn't deserve a shot int the first place, he wasn't good enough to make himself mandatory and really got the shot because Eddie and Kalle are good pals. Then when he got the fight he lost. IMO he lost by three rounds others are saying one or two. Nobody other than team smith and fans are saying he won the fight. Lets say each judge give AA the fight by two rounds nobody would say anything. Yes the score cards where awful, and something needs to be done about judging across the sport in all countries, but smith lost and its time to move on. Eddie saying he deserves it and giving him time in a press conference to complain about being robbed, plus saying they are looking at Dirrell now is just ridiculous.

He was a smug **** before the fight, now he's going to be worse. He now believes he should be mixing it with the best.

I'd like to see him fight Fielding for the British outright.

Yep, he needs to pipe down now. He lost the fight fair and square. Move on. Fight Rocky Fielding.

Okay the score cards were wide, but Paul Smith never won that fight. Paul Smith appeared to throw alot of shots, how many were on the gloves? Look at the two fighters at the end, Abraham was unmarked, Paul was marked up, and Paul himself says he hits hard, surely wouldn't Abraham have been marked up too if shots had been landing.

He has agreed to fight Rocky in the past, Rocky never wanted to know. I think Rocky is an underrated talent, but I believe Paul Smith is a level above him right now

Rocky wants the fight now mate but I'm assuming Paul thinks he's levels above now.

Although if he wants to keep that belt he has to defend it one more time.

I think Rocky's still out injured, but you're right he's wanted the Smith fight for a while.
I don't know how Paul Smith has been allowed to keep the British title this long without defending it. I mean he won it nearly 18 months ago and how the B.B.B of C have not called for a mandatory in that time is nothing short of ridiculous IMO.

Smith might be asked to fight some sort of eliminator and will probably get smashed in it.

At least Smith will have ready made excuses now for when he gets battered "I couldn't get up for it, after fighting for a world title and coming so close...."

Smith and Sky will milk it and never let anybody forget Smith was involved in a "highly controversial decision" that denied him a world title.

Smith lost, very poor cards but the result was right, we never heard Sky being that outraged when Beltran was stiffed. The hypocrisy of Team Sky is stunning.

Exactly right. The martyrdom of our middleweights is staggering. Oooooh Smith, Macklin and Murray were so hard done by. Christ, get a grip and move on with your careers. Who wants to be defined by a loss?
