Paul Smith V Tony Dodson

Tony,

I have heard that you helped Smith out in the past with sparring but when you have asked for a favour in return he had blanked you!! Is this true, if so why do you think he refused to help you when you were more than willing??

Stupid question to some, but not to me, in fact, very important.

Is Tony Dodson an Evertonian? I have no idea why I do not already know this.

I know his cousin Kev used to play for Everton (watched him boss the midfield in back-to-back games, Chelsea then Arsenal, so much potential back then) was at Swansea last I heard.

I'm backing Tony anyway, but just need to be 100% he won't be walking out to You'll Never Walk Alone.

As a fighter and not realy in to football i have the excuse to say i support both because my cousin played for everton all the lads from the team are my freinds and have come on many occasions to support me so i offer that back when everton play but iam a born and bread liverpool fan and i know your all gonna say well you carnt do that .........BUT I CAN lol i will support any team from liverpool when there not playing each other cause iam a proud scouser and as for comeing out to you never walk alone NOT A CHANCE i want to get everybody in a mood for a war not put them to sleep GREAT song but not for a fight

 

smith is overrated! he said he couldnt get up for his last fight!!! who does he think he is? the lonsdale belt is a great title held in the past by fighters like randolph turpin,henry cooper,lennox lewis and joe calzaghe so who the **** is the real gone kid to say he could get up for the brittish title.

 

i agree!! not that hes overrated, but that he does need to watch his mouth and get off his high horse!!

 

Well I agree he is over-rated, and hope Dodson beats him if the fight comes off.

I would of loved to come back to this thread when Smith fights for the WBO Title, but that will never happen so I guess we will to agree to disagree.

 

Not really mate bit of a **** expample that Carl Thompson was a world class operator in his day even though he was an old man he was once a very decent fighter who could bang.

Tony's cousin was Kevin McCloud, Good player he was, Did't get the right breaks at the time, The club was going through a bad patch..:-(
