Yes, let the decent British fighters lose out on excellent pay days. Smith lost on my card 7/5, though the cards were way out. A fighter tends to get more money for fighting in Germany, but they know they need to dominate to win. Smith I am sure is very disappointed, but hopefully the purse he has got has to a degree made up for it.
IB had it a draw and gave the last round to Smith. I strongly disagree with IB's the last round even though I normally agree with IB's scoring. So for me: an Abraham win by two points.
He was robbed though, I believe he nicked the fight but even if it was say a point either way he has been robbed of any creditability from the fight. Imagine fighting the fight of your life to be told its just about the biggest defeat of your career!
I thought Paul boxed out his skin and should hold his head very high, but I will say I think people get carried away with the commentating, I had Paul down by three rounds at the end. As I say the sky commentators had Paul landing punches that clearly hadn't especially hooks Anyway great effort from Paul and his team
Thought King Arthur won by at least 2 rounds myself and always looked the boss throughout the fight. Smith never hurt Arthur or even went for the KO. He knew the scoring system before the fight so his complaints are a joke. The same twat thought it was OK when Chilemba was robbed against Bellew. And still Smith will never be a World Champion and doesn't deserve to be. :deal
Thought AA threw heavier shots and took PS shots better But what a lazy fighter AA is. Fights for 30 secs per rd. Groves and Dégale wd do him I had it a draw
He lost the fight and the cards don't really matter. Parris, Foster, and O'Connor in the UK have been guilty of the worst ever decisions in the business. Fury v McDermott and Beltran v Burns were absolutely one sided but the winners received the worst shaftings ever seen.
Nick Halling and Jim Watt defo earned their money last night! I had it 115 - 113 for Arthur Abraham. Fair play to Paul Smith though he stood up to be counted :bbb
Pretty much how I saw it. Jim and Nick's commentary was too much. There's supportive, and then there's completely bias.
