Honestly while that was the most entertaining I've seen him and the most humble and likable I can ever remember him being in a post-match interview (to where I'm actually chuffed for him to have reclaimed the belt and made good his promise to his boy) I don't think it's for the best that he cracks on. He's unlikely to replicate that form in the Dodson rematch against the higher-ups, and much as he genuinely seems to believe the loss to DeGale was down to fitness it's really about levels IMO. He is quite right to balk at chasing after Groves again...while Rocky Fielding is quite right to balk at taking such a big step up this early. He therefore doesn't have a lot of options but to milk a few easy defenses and then step up & cash out. Why not bow out on a happy note, with as strong a performance as had since The Contender?

I dont like Smith, think hes arrogant as ****... But he looked good against Dodson and was punching harder than ive seen from him, but could he not make middleweight? Surely he'd be a force there?!
