Money talks, bullshít walks. Sauerland's thinking is probably that fighting Smith is a good way of introducing Zeuge to the British public, before fighting one of the better British SMW's (Groves anyone?). If Smith loses I don't think he'll box again, very much last chance saloon for him this fight.
FFS if smith wins can you imagine they be presenting him on Skysports as WORLD CHAMPION of 168 and he should fight groves/degale! who the f%^* is smith trying to kid with this belt? its a BS belt and he is a idiot not sure why he appears on sky thinking he is some kind of world class operator who can critise world class fighters who are better than him and achieved more then he has.
Most places had him 7/1 a couple of days ago, but unexpectedly his odds have come in since then, though he's still best priced at 34/5: https://www.oddschecker.com/boxing/tyron-zeuge-v-paul-smith/winner
Is there a worse combination of trainer and fighter in terms of the level of c*ntiness? Hope he gets brutally KO'd or humiliated and beat down to a very wide UD. Can't stand Paul Smith jnr. Can't stand Joe Gallagher. Smith Brothers are a strange bunch; Callum and Stephen seem decent lads, Liam and Paul are just absolute knobs!
Smith about to become a legend. Just think if Smith wins he'll be added to Herols list of fighters who beats Calzaghe.
The plan is for Zuegue to beat Smith then enter WBS (where he will face Groves to make WBA all one title and solve problem of a mandatory). Winner of AA and CEJ will be in it also with IBO title and Ramirez with WBO. So big chance for smith but can't see him winning tbh.
The winner of this gets to polish George Groves' belt, the authentic one. The WBA have an appetite for free money that knows no bounds.
