is that not the case for most Frank Warren fighters. tbh he is the only promoter that makes his fighters decent cash until there euro level though so you cant blame them.

hopefully Hayemaker promotions will change that.

There's no way he can boil down to 154, he's 5'11" and has only fought at middle a handful of times, he usually weighs around 166 or so. His most impressive performance was against Banks, at super-middle, so maybe he should look to step up to 168 and fight for the vacant Commonwealth title which would give him a bit of recognition.

    :huh Corrales was 5'10".

Maybe Smith just needs to improve his conditioning then and make sure he can make MW.

I don't know about Paul Smith, I really don't. He gets dragged into these wars with journeyman, instead of using the skills he has. He's actually quite gifted, but he fights with the smarts of a deranged chipmunk

I'd like to see him come through Bendall, and fight Darren Barker for the commonwealth. That is a pick'em fight, between 2 unbeaten fighters.

Smith would benifit with a trainer who would train him to use his strengths and thats his agression, McGirt tries to get guys to box and stay at distance more.

Someone like Calzaghe who teaches them to pressure and attack might be good.
