March 12 At Fort Lauderdale, Fla.: Paul Spadafora vs. Ivan Fiorletta, 10 rounds, welterweights

I remember watching a few of his fights, and he was pretty good at the time. Since then he has had a lot of personal and legal issues.

Glad to see him back, but not sure how he's going to do.

    Thoughts?

I think he's done...He relied on speed and reflexes and never had much power...All the time he lost in jail got to his timing...He will never be able to come back to elite level

    Fair enough.

Lets get back to his boxing. Anyone think he has anything left in the tank?

I have only seen 3 fights of Spadafora. Very close fight with Angel Manfredy, Spadafora was good but not very good. His fight with Leonard Dorin, total bull****, he should have lost this one, but this was declared a draw....:patsch. And his comeback fight against Osin ***an, in this one, he was using foockin dirty tactics and managed to steal a split decision.

In short, HELL NO!!! I don't want to see a crazy, dumb and dirty boxer with no power. I you like low blow/headbutt/ref whining combo, maybe you'll love him.

  10. If he fights an elite lightweight he'll be a name on their record. If he decides to take a risk he can easily get a big fight because of his undefeated record.

I seem to be one of the few that am interested in seeing him return to the top levels of the sport.... when exactly thats going to be, if ever, is my question. Seems like hes been on the 'comeback' now forever....
