Paul Spadafora. Better than Floyd Mayweather?

    I wasn't into boxing whilst he was around, and never hear any mention of him now.
    Looking on Wikepedia, he was undefeated champion.

    He hasn't fought much at all due to problems with the Law, but when he does fight, he still seems to win.

    And he also whupped floyd in Training :yep

    What are people thoughts on him? How good could he have been?

    He was(is) ok, overhyped only because of a sparring session with Floyd. Let's not forget that Morales and Kid Diamond also supposedly worked Floyd over in sparring, sparring is only practice...got a gift draw against Dorin, that was the most notable thing he has done in his career. I think he beat his girl pretty badly and had drug problems.

    Spadafora did work Jr over in sparring! Spadafora could not punch and was 45-0-1 . He was ok? Rofl

    I read that in that sparring session Paul was two weeks away from a fight and Floyd was just starting a camp. Anyone know if thats true? not that it matters much as it's just sparring.

    the only significant fights he had were against manfredy and dorin.

    He was interviewed by "On the Ropes" last month and said he wants to fight Floyd or Pac.

    I'd say he should get out there and beat some contenders.

    He has the potential, but can't keep his ass out of trouble. Actually, I think he didn't beat his girl, he shot her....not fatally....and she was pregnant at the time.

    Or maybe she shot him? I don't remember exactly, but someone got shot while they were arguing in an SUV I think.

    he went to jail for around 2 years for shooting his pregnant girlfriend in the stomach.

    I cant believe it was only 2 years.

    Anyway he seemed like a good fighter.

    Not even close to being better than Mayweather. This footage is old, Mayweather wasn't yet in top shape. Sparring is just that. Sparring.
