Yes he was clearly better then Floyd and proved it in practice. You think Michael Jordan use to let BJ Armstrong whip him in practice?

    :deal

Floyd was fighting a higher level of opposition and was clearly the better fighter in the ring. Who cares about a sparring session. Maybe floyd was working on defense, or paul was in peak shape as they say. I bet if we had videos it wouldnt take long to find a bad sparring session for Paulie.

They dont have much common opponents other than Angel Manfredy, and see how both of their fights with the same opponent went:good

In his prime he lost to the good but limited Dorin and now hes 40 and won a question decision over ***an who Khan blasted out in quick time

Spadafora is a nobody living off sparring footage

Does anybody know the circumstances surrounding this sparring. Such as how many rounds had they gone? Where they in training for any kind of fights? How old were they at the time.

When I saw it, it was like 6 rounds and Floyd seemed to get tired quick after it. There's an interview with Floyd Sr. talking about it recently saying how Floyd wasn't in the gym for 6 months and came back and sparred him and he says he was handling him and then got tired.

Now I saw it and I couldn't say anybody was winning the first few rounds and Floyd Sr. likes to talk nonsense, but Floyd was out of shape

Sparring and an actual boxing fight are not the same nor are they intended to be. If that were the case, Muhammed Ali would have been whipped by many. Often when sparring one may work on toughening ones body or just covering up and work on blocking. . A powder-puff puncher like Spadafore would be perfect for this and this looked like this could of been the case.
