Seems like a straight up guy, had his share of problems but fully admits the wrongs. He is known for his infamous sparring video with Mayweather, but talks about sparring Devin Haney in this video.
He was seen the other day confronting Mayweather at the HOF convention, I love it haha.

He still had such great upper body movement even up to a few years ago. Love watching him at work once he gets going.

    Haney would beat him.

    Even in Spadafora's prime?

Yeah. Spadafora had great style, but he really wasn't as good as Haney. He might beat Kambosos or give Davis some problems.

Spadafora was already out of the picture when I got big into boxing, until now I have never done any research on him.

That was a fight that Mayweather actually wanted …he vowed to break Spadafora’s nose …but he was being promoted by Bob Arum at the time ( if I recall) …and there was no money in it

Spadafora was seriously considered as a Maywather opponent about ten years ago, but he never really got his career in order enough for it to happen.
