    everything has been said really, the 10 mins against mayweather is arguably his greatest achievement.

    fought well but was only a draw in his local area and had NO punching power. very strange fighting style though, jabbed a lot and was a very good boxer but i cant remember him ever using his feet at all.

    he was a rarity, a white boxer who used a pernell whitaker style. I liked him but knew he wasn't a hall of famer.

    still he won an alphabet title when he had the chance and defended it through some adversity but the fight with sosa would have been stopped if it hadn't been in spadafora's backyard.

    hope he stays retired and becomes a trainer, he definitely had some knowledge on the art of boxing.

    Spadafora is famous for giving it to an out of shape Floyd. Everybody has a bad day at the office in sparring-everybody. Spads fights against Sosa and Dorin showed us that he was easy to hit when he fought top guys. He didn't fight that many top guys imo, and he was exposed in the Dorin fight as Dorin lumped him up. Spads had a decent chin and no power.

    This was the first time that I ever watched the sparring match, and I did not see this domination in sparring that Floyd's critics were talking about lol... It looks like a sparring match lol... I was expecting to see Spads take Floyd to the bank, and all they did was work on their game lol...

    Jesus get it right-Mayweather the first day came into Paul training camp and talked alot of **** and wanted to spar with Paul.Pauls trainer said no but Mayweather came back AGAIN and this time Pauls trainer said yes and Paul got the better of Mayweather.END OF STORY.
    Spadafora not that good??He was a CHAMPION with multiple title defenses.Fought on HBO a couple of times and was on PAY PER VIEW.
    NEVER LOST.What more could you want?
    His outside the ring life is what did him in.But when he was at his best he was a slick southpaw with great speed and was great at punching off angles.So what he couldn't punch-NEITHER could Jimmy Young whos a legend on this forumn.He could have been a really good champion if not for his outside life.He had all the tools to succede.

    Sparring doesn't mean anything anyway. People blow that way out of proportion on here.

    Spadafora was drinking and drugging well before the Dorin fight and it caught up with him. He had skills just has personal problems and eventually they will catch up with you.

    He was really good technical, but featherfisted! Just another Spinks or Malignaggi imo.

    He fought a pretty stupid fight against Dorin. I think I read that he was trying to be more of an action fighter, maybe he just couldn't deal with him though. I still think I had him edging that one though.

    :lol::lol::lol::lol:

    HOFmers dont nearly get KO'd by Victor Sosa, and get gift decisions over Leonard Dorin.

    Spaddy is one of the most protected fighters in history. He was kept FAAR away from the likes of Floyd, Castillo, Corrales, and Casamayor, and for good reason.
