Sorry I don't agree. Spadafora was a solid champion but he wasn't an upper echelon fighter like some of the past great champions. Spadafora had a close call vs Victoriano Sosa who dropped him twice. Spadafora also got beaten up by Leonard Dorin who was robbed. All in all Spadafora was a skillful Southpaw but he fought on the inside alot. And despite being good at using angles he wasn't the hardest guy to hit and he had no power. On Mayweathe's level based on an old sparring session in which Mayweather was out of shape ? I hard disagree. Idon't think that sparring session has any barring on what a real fight between them would look like both at their best. I wouldn't even pick Spadafora to beat the other notable Lightweights during that era like Corrales, Johnston, Castillo.
