    Not even close:deal

Margo had been a belt holder for quite a while and none of the "big names" would even mention his name.

DLH, MOsely and PBF are all big names that have ducked Margo at one point.

Margo just beat a current PFP fighters.

    Try again:hi:

margo doesnt even want to fight pw again and he lost the last fight. Having said that no one else calls him out. I would say PW is the most feared in the way that he will win the fight.

Anyhow...Margarito vs Williams in November or December is a fight that needs to take place. It will draw pretty good because it has built an interest over the last year now and the present situation of Margarito being the new WBA man !

Everybody and there cousin calls out Pavlik, but in the end only BHop and maybe Abraham actually have the balls to fight him. The Abraham fight is tenatively scheduled for a January 09 HBO pay per view, but it's still an open question because nothing has been signed.

Nobody has called Williams out recently because he only recently avenged his loss to Quintana. He isn't that highly regarded.

As of right now I'd say Margarito holds the "most feared" position, but that could change at anytime.

Margarito is the best followed by Cotto then Williams. Williams didnt beat Margarito when he was the best. Margarito beat Cotto when he was the best so that means Margarito is number one.

Nobody takes you seriously. And 8-4, 7-5ish decision in a competitive fight is a beating? Williams knocked out Quintana with a lucky punch?

Thats because call outs are usually based on money and name (ie more money).

Of course people call out Pac and Pavlik. They are the biggest names in those weight divisions. To be the man you beat the man. And if you lose, you still get big $ for the fight.

Of course PW calls out Margo now that margo is the name at 147. Granted that he also has the best style chance at beating margo on points.

PW is not yet a big name. Fighting PW doesn't automatically mean big money. Hence nobody is calling him out.

    Not making excuses for Margarito
but he said after that fight that he started too slowly, which was evident

and because he was not at the top of the PPV, he was told he has 40 mins to warm up for the match, thinking he had enough time he was preparing when he was later told that he has to get ready right away, i read this on HBO im sure i can still find it there.

But i still think Margarito got beats, Paul Williams is not given the correct respect that he deserves, simply because he is massive

the rematch will be much closer than the first fight, Williams and Margarito have both learnt from defeats, so it will be close, and Williams may just edge it but i hope margarito destroys him.

    EDIT:
taken from tht article on HBO i was talking about

Fate, which has never been all that kind to Margarito, also conspired against him in the Williams fight. Diaz was told Margarito would have 40 minutes to warm up, but two preliminary fights resulted in quick knockouts. Margarito was still wrapping his hands when he was informed to get ready, just 10 minutes from the opening bell. "Tony never got a chance to really warm up, which is why he had that slow start," Diaz said.

I think that is a bogus excuse. I mean think of it if Margarito was short on warming up so was Paul, plus as for the starting slow; he does that in every fight.
