Paul didn't give no excuses when he lost a close decision to Carlos Quintana. Paul's a stand up guy and will rebound again from a loss. Paul knows he has to work on somethings and maybe he can gets some big fights now. I would like to see the rubbermatch between him and Martinez. Pwill will be back.

I agree that he didnt have much choice.
It wasnt a KO like Judah/Ktzyu was.

Though time will only tell how it truly effected him
    He needs a new trainer.

Why are people saying Paul didn't have a choice? He could easily make excuses like Hatton did when Pacquiao ko him out cold in the very same round. Paul didn't make excuses and took it like a man unlike Hatton and Pavlik who both make excuses like there's no tommorow.

    Exactly.

If it was Hatton or Pavlik was in there we wouldn't be hearing about not seeing a big shot comming..................... we would be hearing about how they were weight drianed, had a bad training camp, and how they walked into the fight with an 108 degree fever.

    Paul is a class act.

I'm glad it was at the start of the fight and not late into after they had punished each other until late into the fight and then for 1 to get sparked like that as it couldve been career ending.

But yeah P willy took it on the chin and hopefully we will see him fight again soon.

Really? REALLY??? That is what the both of you think? How long have you been watching boxing?

    He could have said...

That he had a bad training camp, that he was sick, that he was injured, that he thought his water tasted funny, that he got hit with a lucky shot, that he was having personal troubles, that he was having family troubles, that he thought Martinez was using PEDs...

It goes on and on and on; if he wanted to make excuses he could have. He could have been like the huge amount of overly prideful boxers that came before him, he could have made excuses. He didn't.
