There is only one conclusion possible. The sanctioning body, Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, have their nose in the trough like everybody else and could not give a flying f.... about the ramifications.

They both now legally identify as "women."

    Serious?

    No you're right.

Boxing is and always has been a one-hundred percent honest and corruption free sport. Nothing shady has ever happened behind closed doors, especially not concerning legal contracts.

All sarcasm aside could you imagine the fallout if Mike Tyson died from injuries sustained in this event?

If Mike died from injuries it would be horrific, I don't even know what would happen, a call to ban boxing?

There have been calls to ban boxing since the very earliest days of the sport and none more so than in more recent years. But that said, if Tyson was killed, the anti-boxing lobbyists would have an absolute field day. It would be on like Donkey Kong!

It's going to be hilarious Jake Paul having Mike Tyson on his resume as a W.

14 ounce gloves may prevent the KO happening but Jake will win this easy.

Tyson puts himself in danger because of his greed, he thinks he can still do it but he can't, Jake Paul could beat him up...

No sanctioning body should have touched this. That's old fighters like Mike Tyson's supposed safeguard. Not in this case though, the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation smelled the money and couldn't wait to get a piece of the action.

How can it be a sanctioned pro fight between two men and be scheduled for two-minute rounds?

I believe the reason Tyson-Jones was scheduled for two-minute rounds was two-minute rounds meant it couldn't be sanctioned?

So, if it's going to be sanctioned, shouldn't they be three-minute rounds now?

And how on earth can the state licensing board allow a nearly 60-year-old man (who smokes and sells weed full time) to get a sanctioned fight?

Everything about this is ass backwards.

Do you have anything to back up the no knockout claim? I'm not saying you are wrong, I just haven't seen anything.

The "no knockdown rule" is an urban myth.
