At 147 i think Duran takes it. Tough to call it at 154 and i think at 160 its a coin toss, maybe slight edge to williams
But Paul gives up his height a lot and elects to fight on the inside. He'd be in with possibly the greatest body puncher and infighter ever and a guy who was MUCH more skilled all around (including defensively) than himself. I know Paul has gotten better over the years, but I just see him as too willing to fight and too open to beat the uber-skilled Duran...and even if he did box, he'd be facing one of the best pressure fighters ever who could chop him down with body punches. This is at 147 im assuming
depends what version of duran comes to fight. even up to his fight with barkley, he still had ko power in his right. i think ww version of duran destroys pw, 154 version schools hims, and 160 lbs version might of lost a close split decision. i think paul's team is leading paul well at 160 by not putting murderous punchers on him yet. paul only keeps punching when his rhthym isn't messed with, but i think he's gonna have trouble with precise, hard punchers like duran that don't throw telegraphed hayemakers. this is on their best nights of course. i'd give paul the edge at 160 and duran below that
This fight being at 147 is duran's only hope if it's at 154 or higher his odds for wining only get worse. Paul is really all wrong for him very active and long, tall can fight on the inside and outside take and give a good punch and comes out for the 12th like it's the 1st.
Just like Barkley right? Williams is tall, but a lot of times he just paws with his jab and throws arm punches for the sake of volume. He's also fairly easy to hit because he gives up his height. Duran by UD.
