Exactly. His last 6 fights over the space of 21 months - Margarito, Quintana, Quintana rematch, Kolle, Phillips, Wright. And yet nobody wants to fight him? 5 of those 6 are of decent to good quality.

He is clearly between 5-8 on the p4p list by any objective person. Pwilly beats anyone at welter and light middle. he is the only guy who can so that. H2H is a hell of a match up for anyone so why would a mosley or a PBF ever fight him? No way any of the top welters ever sign to fight him so he is relegated to fight whoever will sign with him.

 I forgot he was a southpaw. Damn.

Excuses, excuses. You say he doesn't fight lazy when I make the point and then say 'the only time he fought lazy'. That's what we call an acceptance my friend. He does occasionally. He doesn't snap his jab with the real authority that he should do.

He is probably quicker than your average guy, but Floyd's Mayweather's record isn't made of average guys. He's fought quicker guys than Williams before.

And yes, I do watch Paul Williams. My mind drew a blank and I completely forgot he was a southpaw, but Floyd is capable of adapting. He'd never been in with a real quick top-quality southpaw before the Judah fight and it showed in the first 4 rounds, plus Judah gives anybody hell early on especially.

Now he's used to it, he will adapt a hell of a lot quicker. And there's a lot of people that think Floyd would beat Williams I'm sure. You're underestimating an ATG fighter here. Don't get my wrong Williams has a great chance of an upset, in fact a couple of weeks ago I said this was a 55-45 fight, but that's in Floyd's favour. And therefore, if they were to fight only once, I would back Floyd to deliver the good, though it may only be a 7-5 possibly split decision.

No doubt. It's a good win indeed, just not the outstanding one it was made out to be in the aftermath. Directly after the fight people called Williams the best P4P fighter in the world like the OP did in this, or he launched into top 3 or 4's on the basis of that win along when he was in the 10-12 bracket beforehand. A win over a prime Winky may launch you up that far, a win over a past-prime version doesn't.

Arum froze Williams out after Goosen jerked him around with the Pavlik fight. I don't think it is Paul that is avoided as much as Goosen.

Sturm wouldn't be a 'gimmie' fight for him.

And the division hopping is HURTING him not helping him. Did you hear Pavlik when he talked about the state of the MW division on OTG? He said, "You can't call Paul Williams a big name there because nobody knows what division he really fights in."

Furthermore, if Quintana can outbox Paul one time, Floyd and Cotto can outbox him EVERYTIME.

The real reason Williams does not get the big fights is that he is not a draw. The man would have trouble selling out the Aiken High School gym!

Spoken like a true Pavlik dicksucker...

#1 - Paul will whip your boy's ass, that's why they haven't fought.

#2 - If Floyd and Cotto can whip him every time so easily, maybe they ought to give it a go, huh? You are one of a fair amount who think Floyd could do it. But even most Cotto fans know he would get beat the **** down.

#3 - Paul will sell out anything in SC and GA. Don't try to downplay him.

Shame that you try to get up here and play him like a sucker. You still bringing up the Quintana fight? Really? What a ****in idiot you turned out to be. At least he didn't get embarrassed by a 43-yr-old man he was supposed to KO. Maybe you're a little peeved because no one talks about KP in the same light?

    GTFOH with that ****....

Arum froze him out because he's ****in scared for Cotto and Margarito. You are the only one on this board who is still on Arum's nuts. Everyone realizes just how much of a dick he is. I guess when he gives your punk ass boy another 3 or 4 shitty fights you will begin to realize, huh?

    Yes, clear.

    Close but clear.

And you won't hear me try to downplay Margo, but he beat him 7-5, 7-5, 8-4 in his own back yard. If anything he should have won 8 clear rounds on all cards...
