Paul and Shane are both 147 fighters. And Shane wants no part of him, so he gets put 2 spaces ahead?:huh And Cotto... geez man, would did he do to get put so high on the list? Beat Jennings? But still a pretty decent list
5 is where he deserves to be all things considered... fact #1 - Paul Williams Resume isnt stellar yet.... took on some undefeated fighters & good challenges but is still lacking the super names.. he is still young so in time that will come fact #2 - Paul Williams will be the favorite against anyone @ 147..... floyd, pacman, shane, cotto, margarito.. he will be expected to win in all of those fights going in... assuming he does go on and beat atleast any mixture of these 2 guys.. he will be atleast p4p #3 at worse and i think that is the main thing most people think about fact #3 -Paul Williams should have no trouble with anyone at 154 (dzindiruk being his biggest challenge) fact #4 - Paul Williams vs KP/AA would be good scraps... I'd rather him fight Kp... I think AA would be a dangerous fight for Paul all things considered he deserves to be #5 exactly
The problem Williams has is that NO ONE .. NO ONE wants to get anywhere near a ring with him in it. How can you prove you're the best if none of the best will fight you?????????? That's the only reason he's NOT #1 P4P.
Ha ha not even Walk With Me would go that far! That said, he can get there, once Floyd and Pac are out of the picture...you all know if he keeps on going like this he is defo next in line.
Tell me why he deserves to be in the top 10 and maybe I'll listen. You are well known as a joke in the general forum like most of the dicks here, you just cut the mustard even further by being a ********. Get back to ****ing your sister ****.
You have no idea what the **** you are talking about. Paul walks around lighter than Hatton, Cotto, Clottey, Quintana, Margarito, or almost anyone else at 147. He can make it comfortably. :good Any more excuses as to why everyone's favorite WW refuses to fight him?
Why isn't he listed as mandatory for a few of the 147 belts? Seems he should be able to pull that off. He has a problem with both AA and KP. He doesn't punch hard enough at the weight to make them respect him. He might grow into the weight, but he isn't there yet. (Too many of his flurries in the Williams fight were flurries that were all arm and nothing else behind them) AA is easy enough to outbox if you can make him respect you because he will go play turtle in the corner. Marquez couldn't get his respect though......
I dont think that Shane is scared to fight Williams I just think that Shane is looking for BIG money fights, and Im not sure that a fight with Williams will offer that. Plus I could put JMM number one because I felt that he beat Pac both times but it still goes down that he is 0-1-1. I think the same way about Shane vs Cotto, but I put Cotto lower because I felt like he quit vs Margo in a fight that he could have still won. But I stand by my list, I think its pretty good and no ones list will make everyone happy. That is one of the fun things about boxing.
I wouldn't rank Paul above Pac or JMM or BHOP only because his loss to Carlos showed he could be beat and he wasn't unbeatable...if he takes top MW's or JMW's or WW (if they would fight him which no WW will) and beats them than i'd put him more like top 5
I'd have to say first of all, I wouldn't consider him a favourite over anybody at 147. I wouldn't expect him to beat Floyd although he'd had a great chance. Maybe he would even start as a slight under-dog against Mosley. I also don't think clearing up at 154 is going to be as easy as you make out. Dzinziruk you mention as the sternest test and I'd probably agree, he's a very, very good technical fighter. There's a lot of good fighters at 154, it's going to take something special to dominate the division. Pavlik is a far tougher fight for Williams than Abraham. The only thing he has to worry about with Abraham is his power, but his shots are wild and very, very occasional so he shouldn't have to worry about that. Styles, wise he matches up fantastically with Abraham. The work-rate is the main thing, and he can outwork him from a distance aswell with the reach advantage and he doesn't have to worry about getting caught unless he loses focus and gets sloppy. As for Pavlik, that's an extremely difficult fight. A fighter of similar size so his reach and height is gone. Pavlik works hard as Williams does, and he's got power which we don't know how Williams will cope with yet at 160, and he's tough.
After PW's last fight, I think the TV money would be there for Mosely/Williams. I think that is the best Mosely will get for a while.
Tell me why Mosley should be above Hopkins on the basis of the Margarito win. B-Hops over Pavlik is just as good, and he was miles ahead of Shane in the P4P rankings prior. And that's coming from a Shane Mosley fan.
A joke because I dont rate European fighters that havent done **** high??? Williams has a better resume then every active European fighter today. And its better then most of the guys that are on the p4p list. Dawson is the same way. He didnt only beat Adamek he outclassed him, even if you think the fight with Johnson was close what does that mean...Pac fight with JMM was close, and he was getting handled by Sanchez, lost to Morelas. JMM lost to John, Hopkins lost to Taylor twice. Donaire only beat Vic, Mosley lost to Cotto who lost to Margo. Why not put Dawson on the list??? Or are you really pissed that no one thinks that Kessler is on the list:roll:
