With Williams reach he could give him problems but after watching the Quintana fight I dont think he would pose that much of a danger.
If Williams couldn't handle Quintana's side-to-side and in-and-out movement, you'd have to think Mayweather would make him look pretty damn stupid. It's maybe a little harsh to condemn a fighter because of 1 fight, but it seems pretty clear that Williams' offense unravels when he doesn't have a clear target. But regardless, this fight won't happen in a million anyways.
W illiams' punches, especially his jab, are so innaccurate, he will get countered all-day to the point where Mayweather gets confident and starts landing bigger punches, Mayweather defo wins this imo, dont know how though
True, Williams just throws a lot - but the output is moot against a guy with Mayweather's speed and countering ability - plus Floyd knows that Williams can't hurt him so it would be 118-110 all around.
Williams inaccuracy costs him. His huge reach advantage won't be very effective as he'll keep missing and leave himself open to Floyd's right hand counters all day long. Money May by wide UD.
I see Mayweather edging a decision. The only iteresting thing about this match is the natural advantages Williams has over pbf, in which case he may aswel get more credit and fight Forrest at 154, he'd get a similar result, same money and more credit from us. PBF UD
unless Williams shows drastic improvements in the rematch this one wouldn't be close. It probably wouldn't be too close even if he does improve
