Just because he hasn't beaten anyone of note doesn't mean he's a bum he had only one loss. He was a prospect nothing more nothing less you should know this Bazooka.:-(

You know for a fact you would not go this easy on Margarito or his opponent. Just say what Kolle was, he was picked as a tune up @ 160. A guy who will probably NEVER be a champ or even a top contender in his weight class.

But it was still an impressive win for Williams. Sorry for the redundant post BTW.

If Margo moved up to 160 to take on Kolle and stopped him in the first round I could do nothing but give him his due for not only beating but koing a bigger man.

Remember, Bazooka was the same guy who started a thread bragging because he believed that Margo has less losses than Floyd. I'm not surprised by anything he posts.

That was more like a stay-active fight and he did pretty great in it considering his opponent was a pretty decent one and Williams is moving from Welterweight for this one. No one is saying he beat an ATG but when a Welterweight carries his power and speed the way Williams did then he should be praised for it at least.

    This is true!

It's not always the opponent you beat that makes a win impressive, it's HOW you beat him.

No one said he's A class, find a single post where anyone is saying he's A class please. What people are trying to say here is that Williams moved up from Welterweight all the way to Middleweight against a decent opponent(yes he is decent for a man jumping from Welterweight in his last fight) and he ended the fight the same way he ended his last one, TKO1. If that's not impressive and doesn't send a message about the speed he showed and power he once again applied, unlike before then I don't know what does.

What people are ALSO hinting at is that there's no denying that Williams vs Margarito II is the best Welterweight fight to happen now. You guys criticised Mayweather for fighting lineal champion Baldomir at Welterweight(YES back then that fight was the fight he SHOULD take if he wanted serious recognition in the division according to ALL the boxing public) yet you guys are actually PRAISING and BACKING UP Margarito for ignoring Williams who is OBVIOUSLY the best fight to take right now. When Mayweather was around Margarito WASN'T the best match to happen at Welterweight, hell a fight with Hatton meant far more at that point considering Margarito hasn't really accomplished anything serious enough to attract the big boys and the proof is that a new comer like Cotto easily took the #1 position when Mayweather retired. Only now that he beat Cotto a fight with him is the best to happen and many at Welterweight wanted, including a guy that already beat him. :deal If that's not doubt standards then I don't know what is. If Mayweather was to rematch Hatton instead of fighting someone that beat him in a rematch you guys will be all over his balls with insults, threads and complete junk. :smoke

Please note that I DO understand that what Margarito is doing is a smart move business-wise and I have no issues with it, he's doing what he's supposed to earn a living and make the most out of his career, in the end he's a human being like everyone else and what he's doing now is no different than what others did before him and continue to do. But when you guys completely deny that when it comes to Mayweather and claim he's scared to DEATH from Margarito then expect the same type of attitude in return. In reality I do understand the situation surrounding Margarito VERY well and support what he's doing, the man came a long way like many others before him and earned his position and now he's trying to make some money out of it. I'm not denying that but when you guys deny it regarding fighters you HATE then there's an issue here and yeah we do sound as annoying as you do when you type away without actually thinking properly and type with your hate/heart rather than your head.

Williams stayed busy. A stay busy fight. Chavez did this all of the time. It seems fighters have stopped doing this...

Guess what?, he's coming back late November and possibly in a title shot at 154. Williams is a serious man and he's proving it without the need to talk trash or downgrade certain opponents.

Every top level champion can't face a world class fighter/pfp opponent every time out. Instead of going months without a fight, he stayed busy. Nobody wanted to fight him. Kolle did. He had a bit of credentials...
