If anything it shows how freakishly tough AM's chin is. He said williams punches were weak n felt like slaps. :?

That's because he fought at Welterweight, this is Williams from Welterweight to Middleweight and he managed to score a KO over a guy that was never KO'd before.

What happened in Margarito's first serious attempt to move up to 154?

Yeah, Margarito's chin is A+, there are no doubts about it here though I don't think he will be able to take Paul Williams' punches as easy as he did the first time in a rematch to be honest.

Sure I did but the difference is Johnson was shot and he was a former 135 pound fighter. Not to mention people used that fight like it was evidence of Margo starting faster GTFOH.

He's 6'1 so course he can move up easyily. Nice to have a reach and being a southpaw too.

Margo can move up too....just not easily for him due to his "bully style" of fighting :deal

Make it $8million plus PPV upside and Margo will be signing faster than you can blink and Arum will be friends again with Haymon/Goosen. That was the offer PBF declined and would be worth it for risk/reward ratio someone like Paul brings.

When a hardworking fighter like Margarito gets this much unwarranted hate on a message forum you know they have entered the mainstream spotlight and big paydays await him.

People are gonna use this as evidence that Williams is sitting down on his punches better. It goes both ways. Williams fighter was a bum too.

First off margarito is not going to destroy williams in a rematch, while at the same time williams is not going to destroy margarito. I think they are too good and have too much pride for one of them to destroy the other one. I would also like to add all this margarito did not start fast enough in the rematch as bull, people are acting like williams height, reach, and workrate had nothing to do with it. This fight like the last fight is a pick em and can go either way, lets just hope it gets done in 09.

Mararito is not worth $8million at this point, one big win doesn't get him major paydays like that, he needs more big wins and a win over Williams takes him there faster as Williams already beat him once. The offer from team Williams was a perfect one, I assure you Margarito won't make $4million fighting whoever he decides to next.

Yeah, but Paul beat a middleweight, Johnson wasn't even a true WW. :nut
