Paul Willaims will destroy Margo in the rematch

This is the biggest lie there was , Floyd may have had one fight left on his contract but the contract Arum offered floyd included 3 fights margarito , cotto and hatton . The dispute of the contract did not fall apart because of Margarito , it fell apart because of the money Arum offered for Cotto and Hatton which was lower then what he was getting for Margarito .

when that fell apart Floyd looked to make money with Hoya with Arum , arum bailed siting the same reason he's claiming against Al Haymond he don't get along with him only then it way Oscar he had beef with , so floyd bought out his contract and fought oscar. ..

In fact that seem to be arum trump card anytime he doesn't want to share promotional right with another promoter he claims promoter dispute .. Arum is just a greedy old man that doesn't like to share profit even with his own fighters.

 

Ahh the predictable bandwagon jumping. Paul Willaims beat Margarito in the first firht, but came nowhere near destroying him, hell he didnt even hurt him. In fact, Willaims almost got knocked out in round 11. Now he knocks out a couple of guys (one of whom whipped his ass in the first fight) and now he will destroy Margarito

 

Discussing this rematch is pointless. Top Rank has no interest in making this fight.

 

What makes you say this Reg? Don't you think eventually the rematch will be necessary for both fighters and their camps?

 

No. Top Rank also has Clottey and Cotto. Mosley is still out there as well. Those guys will be the targets for Margo. Those fights could lock him up for a while. A fight with Williams probably won't happen.

 

I see your point however but on the fighters level I feel Margo would want to eventually avenge his defeat to Williams or at least I hope....I think a little **** talking by Williams would get things going....

Williams has already talked some smack and his promoter laid a $4 mill offer on the table. Team Margo pretty much ignored all of that. I'm not to optimistic about this fight coming off. Williams will probably move up soon anyway as he'll have a hard time getting Berto, Mosley, Margo, or Cotto in the ring. Hopefully, we can at least see him against Cintron or Clottey before he leaves the division.

destroy is a big word. he couldn't do it in the first fight and most people think Margo had an off night.

I don`t think Margs or his team want any part of Williams. You never hear of Margs calling Williams out. The great fighters do that, call out the guy who hung a loss on them. Williams is a bad matchup for Margarito. I think he would put it on him even more in a rematch. You can`t stand and fight Margarito, not if you want to win. But, he can be outslicked and outboxed.
