**** Williams! He should be embarrassed for accepting the decision that night. He should have protested that the judges got it wrong.

    Lara beats anyone at 154!!!

Also to add, Peterson should have focused on using PW reach...given his build...he had the physical tools to do wonders if he would have fought tall instead of fighting like a brawler and giving up his height.

I think retirement is a good thought for Williams...he's mentally not the same!:-(

Let Pavlik have a crack at him in a comeback fight. After all, the two were supposed to meet in the past anyway and PDub was claiming Kelly was ducking him with the negotiations fell through.

I need to see how he looks vs. Ishida. Not that I think beating him proves he's back, but if he struggles, that will tell us quite a bit.

WHile I think he's done as a top fighter, that doesn't mean he can't make decent money in a few fights. I certainly would not count him out vs. Cotto. Underdog or course, but a live one. I think he can beat Alvarez, but that won't be made until he's an absolute shell. A rematch w/ Margarito might not be bad either for both, seeing as they have nothing on the horizon. Or a fight w/ Shane, Clottey or Angulo. Keep him away from Kirkland though. Before he went to jail, they didn't want any part of him.

It takes a lot of class to admit defeat, PW lacks the essence of it.

I actually dont belive it is all Williams behind these statements. I think that his trainer Peterson is convincing him of all this and its doing more harm than good.

TBH - as much as I really lika Lara maybe its a kind of Karma - Molina was screaming for a rematch after the draw and it seemed Lara wasnt interested. Now Molina's landed a big bucks kirkland fight.

Newbie get your facts straight, Molina never asked for a rematch, instead went after Cintron ,a bigger name at that time

the punisher is only looking for big fights now. he has about 2 to 3 fights in him left, might as well cashout on the big names.i use to think he would beat pavlik at 160 but i think if pavlik can make the wieght then pavlik stops him late. if he cant land a fight with mayweather or pacman, then he's looking for canelo, cotto, kirkland maybe and angulo maybe.anything less then that he's not going to fight.maybe he fights the molina vs kirkland winner.

Makes sense for him not to fight Lara again to be honest. It would be a bad fight for him again. Williams is what he is and he can't do anything different to win a fight vs Lara imo.
