Paul Williams @ 160,168,175 or even 200

Now I know for sure that you have no clue what you are talking about. Pavlik has spent half his career struggling with injuries to his . . . . wait for it . . . . his right hand. I rate Williams very highly after last night. His win over winky stands head and shoulders over anything Abraham has done over the last couple years, but Pavlik would be a nighmare for Williams. He's get sucked into a war of attrition, and sent home in about 5 very brutal rounds.

 

You aren't Williams biggest fan...he has a bunch of fans just like you lol...

Good post. Pav can't box a lick, and Williams has the talent to beat Pav. It is a tough figh though.

 

Williams has a chance to beat anyone under 160. 168 is a stretch, but Williams has a chance. Posters were saying Wiliams would lose to Winky...lol. Now look at what they are posting lol...

At 168lbs and up. Williams would lose all physical advantages over his opponent.

At 168lbs and above the guys are going to be much bigger and stronger then him.

I agree, He would defo beat AA. & Give Pavlik a bigtime run for his money IMO. Wright just lacked the PP to beat a Williams plain & simple. he won't need punching power to beat 90% of other MW's. The turtle shell & jab will be more than enough. Unless his opponent's can somehow throw the amount of punches Williams was commited to.
(I don't see either a Pavlik or Abraham being able to K.O. Wright)

As far as the thread... Anyone thinking williams can fight as high as 200lbs is dreaming. (Unless he lasts until he is 45 & is on his 3rd comeback, never happen)

 

This **** is funny...200 lbs...yea sure

 

This guy has got a lot to live up to.So many threads saying he can win titles at 5 weights etc.He is good but beating a faded winky is not that great an achievment and i dont think it warrants all this fuss.

 

The way he throws so many arm punches, I don't see him scaling well to 160 to be honest. Pavlik has been know to throw lots of punches too. Who would you least like to get hit by? No contest in that category.
