williams just took on the toughest available fight at 154 in martinez. floyd just took the easiest fight possible fight for his return against marquez. not disrespect to floyd or jmm, but how you think williams would of looked vs. marquez at 147 in which floyd was actually fighting(146)? now if it was at 135 and marquez was 5yrs younger it might of been a different story.

Williams said no and bailed. (No rational person blames him for keeping the HBO date)

I wondered when Floyd said something about the Philippines having the best 'drugs' if that was even remotely true. They out develop the US? Was he assured his drugs would not show up in blood tests and thought he could gain an edge on an opponent who's drugs would? How is that for a baseless/factless/clueless assumption?

I think it was Pantera2000 that told me in a PM conversation we were having that it is just way too easy for boxers to dope. I really don't know, nor do I care to know, much about the situation other than to hope enough is done to stop cheating. But then again, I think previous day weigh ins are cheating.
