with all this talk of mayweather marquez and the winner taking on pacman or pacman taking on cotto or mosley i think everyone has forgotten about paul williams and in my oppinion there is no doubt paul williams soundly defeats all the above fighters with maybe some resistance from mosley if he is on his game. i think its crystal clear the best p4p fighter in the game is williams

Manny has a weight drained chance at 142.:smoke

seriously, P-dub is the truth. I hope he has 'it' when it comes to becoming a great fighter.

PW is not the best p4p. He's a very good, unique fighter who can beat ALMOST everyone 160 and below. At 154, I think Martinez and maybe Angulo would give him fits right now. He's very hittable and both of these guys have good timing on their counters and have good enough power to slow PW down. I wouldn't bet against Quintana in a rubber match either

Williams may or may not be the best pound for pound, but he derserves a chance to prove it. Too bad the so-called p4p best, Mayweather will never give Paul a shot. Manny is a bit too small, and Pavlik and Abraham seem to be slowly gravitating towards a showdown, but probably not before next year. Williams will eventually challenge for a belt at 160, and there is no one around at 154 who could beat Paul right now.
Paul's doubters bring up Quintana, but that first round blitz in the rematch makes up for the bad night Williams had in the first fight. Maybe if primma donna prom queens like Mayweather weren't so calculating in choosing opponents, they would have lost by now too. When you'll fight anyone anytime like Paul does, you just might lose once in a while.

Williams is one of the best around. Whether he gets the chance to prove that is another thing

Excellent fighter with all the tools to become a great. Needs to to work on placing his shots though, sometimes quality is better than quantity.

His biggest challenges are Mosley, Santos, and Dzinziruk.

If he takes on one of those three and beats them "handily" I will be a major believer

Mosley can be too slick if he gets it right on the night
