The irony of a Pav fan calling out Williams at this point is almost too much to stomach.

Some PW fans have massive egg on their faces. You know who you are. The members that claimed PW would dominate anyone from 147-168. The same members who are now saying, "Williams is a true welter. He should try to fight at 147". Give me a damn break. You're about to make yourselves on par with the Floyd sac swingers.

WWM has avoided these threads like the plague. NBA? I'm assuming no net access in Aiken. :D

Demanding 50-50 with Pavlik is a joke. If he feels he can win go for the MW championship then make your %'s. - Tho PW should have some clause where if any cancellation he still gets $$$.

The same offer as before he fought Martinez is on the table to him. "Beating" Martinez did not raise his negotiating power at all. 50/50 co promotion = don't want none of that.

he dont need to rematch sergio . p willy won and he is moving on he wants to fite smaller fighters. either way your going to see him fight the best so he isn't really avoiding danger.

yo what the ****KKKKKKKKKK are you people talking about....

paul williams said he won't fight pavlik unless he gets some insurance money just incase the fight breaks down

    peterson said the same thing

goosen said he wants 50-50 & insurance money which isnt far fetched seeing how team pavlik jerked them around the first time around

he just faced the best fighter at 154 & said he would happily accept a rematch.... if he wants to fight someone @ 147 ... wtf is the issue? check any recent article or his twitter... he said he wants a martinez rematch because he wants more time to train for a lefty...

what more do you idiots need?

He doesn't have to take the rematch right away. He needs time to heal and also he needs time to adjust to that weight. By fall 2010 he will be ready for a Martinez rematch. Also I don't want to see the rematch this soon, I want to see him fight somebody new rather than see him fighting the same guys multiple times like Chad Dawson.

Dropping to 147? Forget Pavlik and the pissing match that brings on, the only reason I could see him dropping all the way back down to 147 is that his camp loves to market him as the "victim", the most avoided fighter in the game. So, instead of putting him in the most wide open division with the most affordable fights (not to mention the one he looks the healthiest at), he goes to the division where he has the most physical advantages but where nobody has to fight him.

Paul's shown he's, at worst, a top 3 fighter at 154. Why not just stay there where he could clean things out and make the matches with the top fighters? I don't blame him at all if he's decided he's not ready for a Middleweight campaign, that's his right- but why drop to the one place where you've been accusing everyone of ducking you? Like they're magically going to start fighting him now that he doesn't have a belt again?
