i have a friend trying to dig up some tickets... if he finds them I will be in attendance

if he wins this fight convincingly and pavlik decides to skip fighting him and go straight away to fighting bute... the buzz surrounding paul's name will be massive because everyone will just assume pavlik ducked pw

the only problem is that after martinez there really isnt any opponents left...

    pavlik if they want
mosley after he fights berto is definitely going to wait for floyd/pac
i guess maybe dzinzurik will finally get his shot maybe or cintron

if pw beats martinez then dzinzurik back to back... i dont want to hear **** out of anyones mouth ever again....

as far as going back to 147... if i was the manager i would want a tune up fight to 147 because i cant see his body reacting to well to going str8 back to 147 after 4 fights above 147

PBF would give Paul fits, but PDub would have a very good chance. Williams/Mosely is the type of fight that would probably make Shane's age show up early. Pac is just to small. In my opinion Williams pretty much got froze out of the welterweight division because of the risk/reward ratio.

I see Wiliams/Martinez as a 60/40 fight with PW as the favorite. The weight really doesn't matter much in my opinion. The winner will be the clear number one at 154, but either should be the under dog against KP at 160. A very live dog perhaps, but the under dog none the less.

well they say he walks around at 150 lbs, so if thats the case i dont see a problem with making 147

not even that but everyone would call williams an over rated **** if he lost to anynoe at 147... cept for maybe floyd

williams should just take a big ass risk and fight someone at 147 at like an 70-30 break down

he has to boil down to 147 (while training)
he can maintain 154 (while training)
he has to eat up to 160 (while training)

i just wouldnt want his body to be shocked by going back down to 147 if you know what im saynig... let his body re-adjust to it

That's just plain silly Walk! No one is going to assume that a middleweight ducked a welterweight so he could fight the #1 super middleweight:patsch

I was thinking that Pavlik could do some damage against PW as well but now, after everything that transpired, Pavlik's desire and mental make up has to be in question

How much did Hopkins take out if him mentaly? you know

Middleweight, officially, but don't be surprised if both guys come in only a pound or two over the junior middleweight limit. From what I've heard, the only reason the fight isn't at 154 is because Martinez didn't want to put his belt on the line on short notice.

I have no faith in Pavlik anymore! the sand is slowly dwindling out of his hour glass

he was what Paul Williams now is, take on all comers come forward volume puncher, fan friendly, he also had one thing that Williams lacks, concusive power maybe he can regroup some how but i doubt it

Money was also a factor. The money for PW/SM is not near as good as the money for PW/KP. Sergio basically had a choice between taking a small pay day with his title on the line at 154, or taking a small pay day at 160 in a non title affair. The fight also moved from Boardwalk Hall to a ball room that holds 3500. Guess that settles the argument over who the draw was for KP/PW.
