pw should of never lwft welter
he had a huge advantage, and according to him no trouble making weight. At welter the flush shots he absorbed weren't as powerful
Honestly, at 147lbs i'd take p willy to beat: pbf, cotto, berto, ssm, ortiz, khan. His relentless style, combined w an iron chin he has the ability to give all this fighters trouble.

a few simple changes here and there and he'll last longer, maybe even get a belt

I'm a fan of Williams. He's still a good fighter...but, not a smart fighter (in the ring), IMO. I think he should call it quits, if he does not plan on improving. He, evidently, does not need the money. If that means replacing Mr. Peterson (and it should) as head trainer, he should do that. If Paul is not going to make the necessary changes to remain at the top level, he should retire, IMO. Avoiding southpaws and good technical fighters is not the answer. He's the type of fighter that is willing to face anybody, which is one of the reasons why he's appreciated.

Williams won't retire as long as he has his personal judges to give him decisions to fights he has lost! Those judges need to be suspended for good!

first of all the decision was an absolute disgrace and does our wonderfull sport no favours at all.
williams shoud retire, the ammount of left hands he took, the volume of those heavy shots , take it out of a fighter, never mind the devastating ko he suffered in prev fight.
Hes made a few quid, retire and enjoy and thanks for some terrific fights.:happy
