Or it happens to be a completely different set of people responding so far in this thread than the ones you're recalling as making up the majority who responded on here to that initial announcement?

**** fight, he gets lucky vs Lara and then steps back in competition

the guy scored a fluke KO over Kirkland why doesnt Williams fight K9 or maybe try to beat Angulo who just lost but would get you a rank and a pay day

    why not fight Vanes

I mean, his reach is probably a bit longer but not by THAT much.

The computer I'm currently on at work sucks for looking at Youtube (running like Windows 2k and built in the 90's, just having multiple apps like Excel and Explorer open is a crash risk) - but just from memory from against Rigo & Kirkland it didn't strike me that Ishida was like some giant T-rex or anything with comically stubby arms for his long body. :huh He seemed fairly normal in wingpsan proportionate to his height to me. He isn't the long-limbed freak Williams is, but still. Same height, ten inches?

If it goes to the cards Williams will win wether he deserves it or not, just like on the Lara/Williams fight.

Unless the powers-that-be are done with him and looking to cash him out in preparation for a lucrative "vengeance showcase" for the suddenly hot-again James Kirkland...

Williams is gonna look great in this fight. Ishida being an orthodox fighter is a good start. Williams ain't shot he just can't beat champion level slicksters or southpaws, give him an orthodox guy who isn't a slickster and Williams will always look like the Williams of old. He'll never change so his team would be wise to only fight orthodox fighters from here on.....

Ishida said he would gladly fight Martinez.
Come on Ishida! End the Punishers career and chop down Kirkland again !
Then we can have a showdown against Martinez :happy
    You aint seen Ishida.
And Ishida has fought plenty of southpaws.

Not stoked for this fight. As of now, Ishida hasn't proven to be anything more then a one hit wonder. The new "Baldomir". Feels like a step back after the Lara fight. If Williams just calls out the big names again after this, doesn't try to fight Lara or guys more on his level, then we'll see what he's about. Be the WW division all over again.
