    :nono He should have been crowned a WBA kind-of sort-of world titlist last year.

    Granted, he'd have then gone on to immediately lose the "championship" to Trout about as soundly as Alvarez did...but, still...

    With 30 belts per division, surprised he wasn't given a trinket of some sort.

    I can admit my only exposure to Ishida was the Kirkland fight. But even in that fight, he didn't really show too much. Althogh I might have been in shock from Kirkland getting sropped like that.

    Good fight! Ishida gets to prove if his performance vs Kirkland was legit or he just got lucky catching Kirkland on a bad day. Williams fighting someone his own size will be a fun watch.

    What the **** are you talking about? iIve seen Ishida several times and what does Ishida fighting southpaws have to do with anything????

    I was stating the only people that Williams has trouble with are southpaws and champion level slicksters, neither of which describes Ishida. Ishida is a light punching orthodox fighter, he's tailor made for Williams. Williams will outhustle him and walk through his punches en route to a near shutout UD or mid-late TKO. Fools on here will then claim Williams is back without realizing that he never left and only looked bad recently based on fighting slick southpaws.....against orthodox fighters that ain't slicksters Williams will always look like the Williams of old.

    I don't get the Williams hate....sure he's crude but whats not to like about his great attitude and warrior mentality, his ability to continue throwing 100+ punches per round and his fan friendly style. Not everyone can be a master technician, Williams has mad heart.

    I'm not crazy about this fight but I like it better than the last time it was being kicked around when HBO turned it down. At that time Williams was still ranked pretty highly but after the Lara fight William's stock has fallen quite a bit now this fight seems like it could be interesting.

    I haven't seen a ton of Ishida but I think Williams beats him. I think the winner of this should look to face Kirklnad(if he beats Molina). If Ishida wins then it would be perfect timing for a rematch and if Williams wins I'd love to see a Kirkland-Williams fight.

    :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

    He completely obliterated Kirkland and has been frozen out of the Divison since then because he exposed a Golden Boy hype job as a Glass Jawed Fraud. But, that isn't showing too much? :rofl:patsch

    Bad news for Kirkland. Williams has dominated every orthodox fighter he's ever faced, save a round or two against Cintron.

    Well now I feel stupid, don't I. Not sure he has the quickness to take advantage of Williams's holes though either. I love to watch Kirkland, but I do feel like people overrate him like crazy. Dude can't box, not even a little. He just has great power, good stamina and great persistence. If a Joel Julio could outbox him at times, why couldn't a lot of other guys?

    Yeah, I think he has gotten a bit overrated after the Angulo win, and a fight with Williams would definately be entertaining and IMO Williams would win.

    Williams has a disgraceful Glass Jaw but it isn't terrible to the point where this Feather Fisted Fraud could crack it because Ishida certainly doesn't punch as hard as pillow hands Lara and he couldn't KO him either. Williams has no Chin but he isn't Kirkland either. Williams by late stoppage.
