Someone gets rocked with a clean power punch and gets KO and all of the sudden he has a glass jaw?? That punch would have knocked out nearly any fighter

There's NO WAY to know that. The only thing we DO know is that a guy with a 50% KO rate starched him. It remains to be seen how Williams' beard holds up in future fights. If he gets laid out again, our questions will be answered.

That was a huge shot, Williams got caught with his chin out by a punch he didn't see coming. He hasn't got a glass jaw, just got caught. It happens, it can happen to anyone

Guys with truly iron chins generally don't get knocked out. Particularly knocked out COLD like Williams. In 35 years of watching boxing, Duran is the only guy with a good chin I can think of that got starched like that.

I'm going to bet that Ivan Calderon could KO Zakman, Rico Spadafora and the other "glass chin" dude with a single backhand slap.

    While under water.

Yes, a single backhand slap from Ivan Calderon, in a swimming pool, would be enough to knockout and render unconscious Zakman, his friend Rico, and the other guy.

In other words, the combined chin of Zakman and friends is as fragile as priceless porcelain, enfeebled with dozens of hairline cracks and fractures, and once owned by a chinese noble person from the Ming dynasty. We're talking about incredibly thin and fragile porcelain.

Hey did you guys that the great Sugar Ray Leonard had a glass jaw?

Get on this: He got Ko'd by a guy with a 43.8 KO%!!! Talk about glass chins, right?

Also, I don't mean to worry you guy's, but the legendary Wilfred Benitez was KO'd by a guy with a 51.5 KO%!!! ****ing glass jawed disgrace.

BTW I don't care about the quality of the punch landed or any other circumstances that could affect a KO loss, because i'm an idiot!

If he had been KO'd by Hearns, Julian Jackson, or some other MONSTER PUNCHER, than yeah I would agree but Martinez has a low KO ratio.

mike tyson was knocked out. does he have a glass chin too? my point is its really stupid to assume someone has a glass jaw just because they been Kod one time. if You get knocked out 3-4 times ok then thats a different story but **** happens and in boxing or mma in combat sports anyone can get caught and Kod cold. Anyone pacquio, mayweather you dont think thier capable of being layed out cold? **** yeah they are

Mike Tyson, was broken down and KO'd after rounds of punishment, PW was KO'd with 1 punch from a guy with only a 50 % KO ratio.

Earnie Shavers is considered by most to be the hardest punching heavyweight of all time, yet his KO ratio is decidedly mediocre. Does this mean everyone with a higher KO% than Shavers, was a harder hitter than Shavers? Of course not.

Floyd Mayweather has a higher KO% than Ricardo Mayorga. Is Floyd a harder hitter than Mayorga? No way.

KO percentages mean nothing at all. So what if Sergio Martinez has a low KO%? He won a lot of fights by UD early in his career, when he fought with a different syle. He was a late comer to boxing, so naturally took a while longer to adjust to his style. Sergio failed to knockout journeyman Silvio Walter Rojas, a fighter who has been KO'd 18 times. Does this mean Rojas has a better chin than Paul Williams? No way.

Why can't you people accept that one well timed, massive, accurate shot straight to the chin can knock a fighter out? It's not too hard to concieve is it? Why does everyting have to be about glass jaws and KO percentages.

    Call yourselves boxing fans?
