A Junior Middleweight ran him out of the Middleweight division. Paul decided to keep trucking and bypass 154 as well.

  3. 147 is where PW will really be effective cause he's so damn big and long for that weight. He should make a better name for himself THERE until he gets a big big fight.

Seems kind of stupid don't it? He could just stay at 154 where the choice of opposition is a little wider.

Very smart to go back to boxing's deepest division.

I mean it makes sense if he could get fights there. Still it seems like Goosen and Arum are incapable of working together. I get the vibe Arum would rather get teabagged by ODLH than give Williams a key fight against one of his WWs. Would GBP put Mosley in there against Williams? Seems like chasing the dragon so to speak.

    Nice to see ya Ding.

If that's where he can get paid then more power to PTP.

I hear ya, but I figured since he showed serious defensive liabilities in his last outing that it might be just that much easier to land one of those fights. He's a good friend btw, so I'm quite biased towards him.

Where he'll likely get none of the action he desires. Seriously, who is he gonna fight at 147. Those guys are 8 figure guys while PW is not even 7
on the reg. He's too risky, and all the stars are busy. He should've stayed at 54 and cleaned up. willy is young and has time to let a class get bigger.
He's not getting the fight he wants at '47. promise you!

But there is no way he will be able to face Mayweather, and I doubt if Pacquaio will fight him...

You should get him to post here. I think he'd get a kick out of the hugger/hater relationship he inspires here

    It makes sense.

he already beat the best 154 pounder in the world, the best 160 pounder won't fight him, so go back to a division where you fight your best.

He arguably beat the arguable best 154 pounder at 160 pounds and the best 160 pounder will fight him now that he's not dying.

He can fight Margarito for a start. Margarito is willing to fight anyone with a name just to jumpstart his boxing career again.
