I don't think Cintron is a given for Paul. He can box, and he can convince a ref to not count a knockout. That's pretty impressive. Dzinzurik...what an inactive fighter. I'd like to see Paul get a chance to snatch that belt up. He'd at least defend it more than once a year.

Clottey has stated he would like to fight Paul and I'm sure they could do it at 154 after March 13th. In the meantime Paul should be calling out Yuri, Cintron, Berto, Angulo, and Chavez Jr.

Ok maybe not Jr but the rest should have enough balls to fight Paul.

I guess his most avoided title is effectively gone now!

Paul should fight wherever the BIG money is. 147 154 160 it does not matter.

I don't think Williams should go back to welter and I'd be surprised if he does. I don't think anyone there is going to fight him anyways. I think he'd be smartest to try get a title shot at 160 to increase his bargaining position in the one fight he should make-Pavlik. HBO loves Williams and would televise him in with one of the other 160 champions. Williams, with a title belt, would gain more leverage in Pavlik negotiations.

Or he could try to land a 154 title shot. The division has a lot of good fighters but lacks marquee names. If Williams had a title than he better positions himself to make some big fights in the next year or two. Angulo, Kirkland, Cotto, and Martinez and Margartio rematches would be big fights at 154. And someone from 147, besides Cotto, will most likely move up like Clottey or Mosley. So, I think, if he plans on pushing for a Pavlik bout go after a 160 champ. If he doesn't then stay at and become the top guy at 154 and wait for some of those big fights to materialize.

Chef said from his first hand experience Cintron is very talented but lacks heart. If sparring gets rough he suddenly has an injured hand, stuff like that. If Cintron can get to Paul early, I think he could win, but I look for him to show his lack of heart as the windmill churns through 12 rounds to a decision.
