I've always liked Williams! I was GUTTED when I saw him before his first fight with Quintana (I had built him up to be "The best" to my friends and when I saw him in the ring during the announcements he just looked like he was so lacking focus!! I believed then that he may have a loss heading his way and so it proved, much to the delight of my "Mates"!!) and I hope he (Always) maintains his focus (Which i'm sure he will) and goes on to achieve "Great" status!

Everyone who brings this fight up seems to forget the rematch.

How many rounds did Pavlik win against Hopkins again?

 

Williams got lucky in the rematch and caught an over confident Quintana cold.

Bringing up Hopkins shows you know very little about boxing. Hopkins, Williams, and Quintana probably shouldn't ever come up in the same conversation.

How many rounds Pav won against BHop has no bearing on a potential Pavlik/Williams fight. Pavilk will win 4 rounds against Williams, and then stop him brutally in the 5th. Afterward, shell shocked PW nuthuggers like you will claim Paul is a welterweight, and accuse KP of picking on smaller men.

 

Kelly's a nice guy and I'd cheer for him against anybody else but he's an extremely limited fighter. Paul is just too dynamic for him.

I don't think Quintana was overconfident. He was annoyed that Williams was still the betting favourite and felt that he had to prove that the first fight wasn't a fluke. Hardly overconfident

Overconfidence was what Pavlik fans were suffering from just before the bell for round two of Pavlik/Hopkins.

Might be a bit shocked if he lost, but afterwards, Paul will come back and continue to fight the best out there while Pavlik will fight another one of Enzo Calzaghe's rejects

Hopkins fought a version of Pavlik that would have lost to Miranda, Taylor, Zuniga, and maybe McKart. We all know the whole truth. Only those with little to no personal integrity ignore it.

Williams cannot beat Pavlik. He's way to sloppy and way to easy to hit. His connect rate rarely exceeds 24%, and he get's hit by left hooks and right hands every time he faces an opponent with any skill at all. Against Pav that spells certain doom inside 5 rounds.
