    "I will slap Clottey around. I know my fans would love to see it. They can contact my peoples and it's a done deal. Now they won't be able to get any sleep. They shouldn’t have said that and now its too late to take it back. They want to fight me - lets make it happen! There is no going back now. All they have to do is contact my people and it's a done deal. I don't want no excuses when I slap Clottey around. I may knock him back to Ghana,"

    On Berto saying he's the best welter;

    "I can't believe Berto said that," William said. "I think when DiBella said what he said, it hurt his pride and he said what he said. I like Andre Berto and we cool and stuff but the green belt will good in my trophy case. Berto can get it too. He's in shape, he can come on the 29th and get it. I don't want any excuses. He didn't get hurt in that Forbes fight. I know he's in good shape, nothing happened to him in that fight. I know he's fast, but his speed will run into a brick wall.”


    "I'll fight Berto and Clottey on the 29th. I might make it so quick they may as well put them in the ring together and I'll knock them both of them out one by one. Both of them can get it. They can put both of them in the ring at the same time. All they have to do is contact my people, contact Al Haymon, and we can get it for the 29th of November,"

    I would pick Williams over Berto and Clottey.

    With Cotto and Marg having a rematch i would love Williams to move back down to 147 and unify a belt or two.

    Berto's people don't want to risk Berto on the big boys just yet so make Williams - Clottey.

    Williams is getting used to call people around, dancing around the subjects and tryin to hype up what are pretty Godamn far from being marketable fights... Somebody should tell PW to focus on one particular opponent and run his mouth about it - Daniel Santos, Vernon Forrest, Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, - and make some money. Shane, Floyd, Tony, Miguel Angel don't want anything with him and Andre and Joshua want something with the others.

    You have to give Williams respect. It appears he's looking to clean up. He's eager to get back in the ring. I'd much rather see Williams-Clottey than Williams-Jennings.

    I don't see what a Jennings fight would do for Williams? I mean, in all honesty, there's levels & then there's levels. That's not being disrespectful to Jennings, but that's my view on it.

    I can see Williams only making more improvement for here on out. he under-estimated Quintana first time around & I don't see him doing that again any time soon!

    Oh ok, still seems to me Williams is becoming the ***** in the division. I hope Clottey wins to shut him up.

    Well when he ko'd that bum he was supposed too he looked at the camera and said Margarito you don't want none of this. The offer is for next year. Why would he be saying that when he knows this?

    Margarito won't be fighting Williams next year or probably ever again. Williams is simply trying to goad him into a fight and/or build up his name. It won't work. Williams should push to make the fight with Clottey in 2009. After that he should move up to 154.
