Williams would beat Kirkland easily. I dont know how he would do against abraham or pavlik because I do not consider Williams a middleweight. I would love to see Cotto vs. Williams though
For somebody who actually watched the fight. The 35% of the time Williams connected on Wrights face. (Which obviously did happen unless those bumps on Wrights face after the fight were large pimples. That happen to sprout up during the fight.)
I said I didn't see a huge improvement in his power. That doesn't mean he didn't have power in the first place! In my notes on my scorecard for that bout, I've got an asterisk next to each round where Winky was hurt and a scribble about the combination that got him there. If you can't understand me, just ask and I'll do my best to try to break it down for you, either in the thread or as a pm. I'm not as big an ******* as you're taking me for. Honest. For example: Point 1: With his metabolism and build, intensive strength training isn't going to give a huge boost to his power. It pays off a bit, though, like we saw in the second Quintana fight. Point 2: Where we will see a huge boost is when he can get full extension and leverage on his punches. He has the perfect build for taking advantage of those things. Point 3: Since Williams is already showing great talent at controlling distance, his power is going to improve more and more as he gets used to using proper leverage. That's often called "fighting tall," which you've probably heard a few announcers talk about without explaining what they mean.
It's cause he's a volume great puncher and we all know who ESB's favorite fan boy on this site is a volume puncher and that's Calslappy.
Margarito could not get a rematch with Williams. Then when he won the title from Cotto, Williams said something. Let's see Dawson Vs. Williams.
People can't really ***** about Williams power. He kayoed the only man who beat him in the first round and who stops Winky? He isn't Hearns but he is great.
