    That has put a real dampener on a good week for fight fans. Was excited about him fighting Alvarez as I thought he'd be a real stern test. Can only hope that Paul makes the best recovery possible.

    Really does put a dampener on a great 24 hours on Saturday. Been a horrible 24 hours with the Tapia news & now this. With modern meds hopefully he'll be able to walk again. Brings back memories of Corrales & makes you thankful it wasn't as bad as that

    That link in the first post is the only source I can find that is reporting it. Seems strange to me. I have emailed the guy who wrote it asking why that's the case, and how he found out.

    Hopefully he's ok but if it's a bad break sadly he probably won't walk again...

    This is something I've been through myself so can imagine exactly how he's feeling...

    He can still lead a normal life but it takes a long time to come to terms with.
