I don't think being paralysed means they take your money away!

He'll benefit from being a wealthy man with all the treatment he'll need. All he wanted to do was go fishing with Mr Peterson. I feel ****ing terrible for him.

just read this from some woman who works with Paul Williams said this...

"Rachel Charles Just heard Paul won't ever have the use of his legs again......this is a very very sad day......working with Paul wasn't work it's a pleasure and fun......he's a class act, humble as they get and loves to fish...he's call me Miss. Rachel."

    Exactly what I was thinking.

He'll more than likely get a few million in compensation from his insurance too so his future will be secure and he'll have access to everything he needs.

Gutted for him though, I miss football like crazy and I wasn't even that good  But hey, maybe we'll see him representing the USA in the paralympics or something...

Glad to hear he is in a positive state of mind.

early days guys. It may be a tragedy he wont box again, maybes he wont ever walk again but at least he is still alive and at worst reports say he can use his upper body. Considering the supposed crash that aint so bad and he had time to recover. The main thing is that he is alive and that is something to be thankful for.

Maybes one day he will gain control of his lower body but for now just being alive is good. rather look on the bright side than the negatives.

According to his manager there is "No chance" of him walking again.

It could well be true but lets wait until the medical reports come out. Bruce Lee was told he would never walk again and became the greatest film martial artist ever. But even if he can't walk again at least he is still alive and can do something with his life. Many who are involved in nasty motocycle accidents don't live to tell the tale.

I will never ride a motorbike; there are just far too many injuries/fatalities. Life's far too precious to **** about on those deathtraps!

    You ever fallen off?
