Just found the case closer to our old arguement. Paul Williams standing with 6'4 Brandon Jacobs. This confirms that he's not 6'4, but closer to 6'2. No wonder Arreola looked so short next to Vitali. He's Paul's height.

No he won't! Williams is the real deal, he's hungry, improving with each fight! How anyone can knock a fighter like Williams I don't know! He's clearly an avoided fighter!

When he beats Pavlik, the shortlist of guys wanting to face Williams will get even shorter!

For example, Paul maintains he can still make Welter if such a fight permitted him to, so instead of Mosley, a guy who I'm admire as a fighter, calling out Mayweather, why doesn't he issue a challenge to Williams?

You don't hear many guys calling out Paul do you?

You do realize that if he is wearing boots (Tims), that would add about an inch or two? Putting his height right where it is in this pic next to the 6'4 Jacobs. There isnt one picture of what he was wearing...so I wouldnt jump to conclusions on this.

That said, I also believe he is taller than 6'2. But really, who cares?

 

That last comment is pretty funny...but the middle is an outright lie. Williams came INTO the ring vs Quintana weighing less than Carlos did. There has never been a fight that he gained that kind of weight from weigh in to fight night. At least not to my knowledge (and Ive seen every fight he has had since Matthysse).

Another fact for ya...he hasnt been the heavier man at the weigh ins in four years, spanning 11 straight fights.

He is tall and lanky...much like Hearns was before him. Long body, small frame. Its why I feel if he goes up to SMW too soon in his career, it may effect his ability moreso than most.
