Paul Williams is a KO waiting to happen.

The only thing is, I don't see Williams as having a glass chin. I just think he gives up way too much real estate to his opponents considering his size advantage.

Williams has shown a tendency to eat big shots way too often. He had already been timed by Martinez in the first fight. Sergio just got in his groove in the second round of the rematch, picked up where he left off, and made it count right away. Williams goes to sleep.

Pavlik would have stopped Williams too in my opinion, if that fight had taken place. Sergio does deserve credit for getting it done when so many other fighters couldn't.

 

Im going to make a prediction. And if it happens 6 months from now. I will look like a genius. But if it never happens, no one will even care. Its going to be brilliant.

 

He just has terrible technique, hes not elite by any chance. Its a very weak division.

 

..and a good fighter was called 'not elite' and glass-chinned after being KTFOed. Hell, even great fighters were KTFOed.

Paul Williams is a B+ fighter who is a 3-division champ. Sorry for him, he got caught by a big punch he never saw, much more sorry for him he got knocked out in the 2nd round.

Im not saying anything about his chin. I didnt even mention Williams. I just call bull**** on these posts that happened months ago. Only to get a bump by the same poster to get props.

Good call TS. I wouldn't classify Paul as glass chinned though after that shot. That punch would have dropped anyone up to 2 divisions up. Just well placed and timed.
