Pavlik will have trouble with Williams movement and combination punching. I can't see a stoppage here, but it will be an interesting fight that's for damn sure!

Williams throws a variety of punches, but that doesn't mean he has angles in the sense I mean. When I say "angles", I mean B-Hop-style feinting movement from range, jumping in from nowhere with semi-hooks, semi-uppercuts. That is not something PW does. He may use lots of different shots, but he throws them from an upright, static and square position.

He drops the other hand a lot too. When he throws a left, he often drops the right. When he throws his right, he often drops his left. History says fighters with defensive flaws are in deep **** against Pavlik.

Williams is way to fast for pavlik, and I doubt Williams can KO Pavlik.

    So I say Williams UD.

Paul's hands are not any faster than Taylor's. Peterson claims PW will knock Pavlik out. In order to have any chance at that Paul will have to pick his shots and sit down on them. If he does that, he won't be as fast as Taylor.

doesn't have it in him to knock Pavlik out imo.

That being said, with the amount of shots that Paul throws your always in with a shout of having the fight stopped by the ref simply based on how many shots your taking off him, by the late rounds your going to have slowed anyway and Paul pretty much keeps up the same pace for 12 rounds.

I just plugged all the known data on both fighters (including their mother's birth weight) into my handy-dandy fight predictor probability program, and here's what it churned out:

    Probability of

Pavlik win on points: 11 %
    Pavlik win by KO/TKO: 36 %

    DRAW: 2%

    Williams win by KO/TKO: 10 %
Williams win on points: 41 %

You can take that to your Bookie !

Williams has shown the ability to move on slow fighter's like Matthysse and Margarito. Pavlik falls in the category of being slow.

    Williams' reach 82"
    Pavlik's reach 75"

The more important measurement is arm length.

    Williams, 25 1/2"
    Pavlik, 24 1/2"

    Jermain Taylor, 27"
    Edison Miranda 25 1/2"
    Margarito 24 1/2"
