But you discredit those who beat on your favourite fighter. You're a fool.

No, I was just speaking in general terms. I didn't have anyone particular in mind. However, Selfkill is not someone I have noticed regularly putting down pro boxers.

you're slowly becoming the worst poster on ESB. Infact, you probably already are. you're nothing but a biased POS who does nothing but add more and more unneeded bull**** to this forum.

And Hopkins started at LHW...fought at SMW and MW...then moved to LHW and even contemplated moving to HW.

Does that make Hopkins a natural LHW?

Again, there are literally hundreds of examples of fighters fighting above or below where they started or spent a good chunk of their careers. And like I said at the beginning...if you can show the dedication to make weight comfortably and compete (not make 160 and come into the ring at 175...THAT IS AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT CONVERSATION...but that is not the case in this situation), then that is your weight.

I agree that fighters change weight classes.. But PW wasnt a top JM OR MW OR SMW..he only became a top fighter when he dropped down to WW..where he is the biggest guy in the whole division. that is why Im saying he isnt as talented as he gets credit for....

And again, Hopkins LOST at LHW...then moved down to MW (where he was taller than many of his opponents) where he became one of the best ever at 160.

You read what I feel is Williams strengths and weaknesses...he has both. But his ability to make weight only shows a strength...his dedication and training regime.

I guess the best example of the point Im trying to make is Thomas Hearns. Same size essentially as Williams...he was the biggest guy in the ring EVERY NIGHT at WW (and above until you get to LHW)...yet his ability to train and get to WW is amazing when you consider his size and the fact that he also, much like Williams came into the ring at or BELOW the WW limit on most occasions.

Again, dedication is not a weakness nor does it show a lack of talent.

Williams already easily beat Margarito nearly sweeping the first half of the fight.

this was a good post and I agree with it...

Althought Hopkins wasnt bigger then his opponents at MW IMO..

he is 6'1 and he didnt have almost a career's worth of fights above MW..he had a few, but also came out of prison to go go pro and didnt have the proper weight training in the begining IMO..

Williams only last 7-8 fights have been WW.. Hell Pavlik 7-8 fights ago wasnt even a top MW..my point is Williams dropped weight divisions and could very well be facing the Miranda, Taylors, Pavliks,, instead he is trading wins and losses with WW's..:deal

YOU did Have A very good post tho and didnt just resort to calling me a hater or ******, thanks :good
