The comparisons with Hearns and Chavez etc still seem out of their place for now,we''ll see, maybe Williams will become that great.

I agree..... Prime Hearns crushes Williams and Trinidad at 147 to 154 pounds with ease.....

Does anybody care or remember Milton McCrory as a WBC welterweight champion in 1983 thru 1985? McCrory looked to be a damn good 147 pounder, until he fought Donald Curry.... Then Curry went to hell the following year in '86..... Jesus, some tidal waves can really come down crashing....

I don't know how people can compare him to Tommy first the stiles are very diferent, the only thing they have in common is size nothing more very diferent in every way, He don't even remeber of Tommy when he is fighting.

As he is there to be hit and you cannot be there to be hit and survive vs Thomas Hearns at 147.

Whoever said that he was the next Hearns is an idiot. It was evident when he fought Mitchell and Mathysse. And, Kellerman compared them in size not fighting ability. Some of you guys have serious listening problems.

The only thing Hearns and Williams have in common is their height, and that's about it.

Williams is an excellent fighter in his own right and his fights are pretty action-packed, but Hearns is a legend.

The biggest problem with so many people on this site is they take only the parts of a quote and ran with it....They dont listen. Other then the shape of there bodies Hearns and Williams has nothing in common.

Good post. Williams is not the new Hearns and he never will be. However, he's developed into a pretty good fighter. He completely broke down a tough fighter in the form of Phillips. He's multi-faceted fighter with power, good stamina, good chin, and most importantly, toughness. Unless Williams builds a fanbase, no promoter is going to be too thrilled with putting their fighter in there with Williams.

while not at all trying to defend Kellerman because he does say some stupid ****, he did't compare Williams to Hearns, he was speeking of the way they are built, physique wise. I think he also said something about pernelle and chavez as well though ahahahaha.... kellerman is truly tremendous **** talkery at its finest....
