    This 147/154 and 160 bs of Williams is a total joke unless he fights actual top fighters in the Division, what is so impressive about bashing up on Kolle and old Verno?

    YES! Manny Steward was a master at getting Hearns fights against crude sluggers or pillow-punching welters back in the late 1970's... Tommy Hearns hardly ever fought a dude early on who was 6' tall or taller.... Steward likes to have / train "Beanpoles" who are 6' or taller and lean..... Tommy Hearns was just that, too....:roll:

    Hearns was better and exciting. Hard to find another Tommy Hearns caliber with the mindset to go for broke and knock guys out. You just do not find the Thomas Hearns caliber these days. Marvin and Tommy were throwbacks to other eras.

    Everyone has thier own opinion but yours seems to be met with some emotions. Paul did fight someone his own size at 160 a couple of times and won by KO twice. Marg is more along his size and he beat Marg.

    Michale was a GREAT and TALENTED fighter...Michael could have been better than Toney or JOnes had he not have gotten in to drugs and everything else.

    Paul has all the talent, skills and ability to be great. Will he? I don't know but the man is off to one hell of a start. Campaining in 3 different weight classes and accepting almost any challenge is a great way to build a legacy.

    Paul could be a "Hot/Cold" fighter...fortunate for him he's had only ONE cold spell! All others have been on fire. You are a hard critic but you are entitled to your own.:good

    I don't think he has fought Margarito yet. At least from the way these guys are talking...

    Maybe he's scared and doesn't want to fight Margo. I'm sure Margo has been calling him out lately, right?

    well whoeveer called him the new hearns is an idiot anyway. but he stilla damn good fighter and he still beat margo(who everybody is calling the best 147 pounder)
