He's gonna say that Kermit couldn't but Miguel most definitely can and will.

Well....That's where you made your mistake. "Hype" surrounding Paul is legit, you only feel its not b/c of your warp view on Margo who is DEFINITLEY NOT A B level fighter. He's a TOP WW Contender and former champion. Beating a guy like Margo who had been undefeated for 8 years was saying A LOT! Paul doesn't have one punch power, but he has some POP for sure. Over time the avg fighter would have folded, some even Elite level fighters would fold under that kind of constant pressure. Marg just has a hell of a chin and a unrelenting style that gives almost anyone problems. Pauls workrate and boxing skills is very good! And his pressure fighting alone would give anyone at WW problems...EVEN the very best! As was the case when Paul squared off with Marg.

Williams doesn't do anything great (counterpunching, bodypunching, defense, etc.), but he throws so many punches from all different angles. His height and reach will make it tough for anybody to beat him.

PW have won 24 fights by ko of 33 how is that not power? I favor him aginst both Floyd and Cotto, becourse his reach 81" and size 6'1, workrate and southpaw stance.

He's not great at anyone thing but he's VERY GOOD at almost everything. He moves well, uses angles, fights fwd or bkwds, uses every punch in the book, has very good upper body and head movment and his "D" is underrated....Only b/c he gets hit, but anyone throwing 1000+ punches over 12 rounds leaves themselves open once in a while. Being able to avoid the majority of Margs punches and still throwing that many punches says that Paul definitly has some Defensive prowess.

Paul is like a great blueprint of an idea.. excellent on paper .. but

In practice is wooden and lethargic and can show out horribly like when he faced Pakau at Mandalay bay.. Paul just couldn't do **** with a man who was purely a dead man walking..

Paul punished his reputation that night........

    That's correct. :yep

So I don't see that as being over rated and that's why a Cotto/Williams fight is gonna be good for everybody.

When he beats one of the elite(that actually have boxing skills unlike Margo) i will give him credit. Right now he is just someone who beat an overhyped fighter. Mark my words he will lose to every elite in the Welter division and probably in a rematch with Margarito.

Why hasnt he had a rematch anyways? wasnt there a rematch clause?

Paul Williams has all the tools to be one of the best fighters we have ever seen. He has good power, great reach, rediculous stamina, huge punch output.. Problem he has is that he doesn't fight tall at all times. He throws from any range he happens to be at, which could pose a problem with someone who has good speed, better power than him, and a great chin who is willing to trade. If Cintron doesn't wilt under the pressure and go into survival mode, goes for broke and tries to land heavy shots on Williams, he could win. Cintron has good power but will have to gamble heavily to beat Williams.

did I miss something here? Have Williams and Cintron signed to fight, or is all this just speculation about IF they do fight??

Williams is defintley overrated, he doesn't have the tools to become great. I hope he someday improves on his skills because that jab he throws is not going to work in the MW division. The guy is 6'1 he should be dominating most fighters in his division, but he barley beat Margarito. He's the type of fighter that can only win because of his size, that's it. And no way in hell is he Tommy Hearns.
