Goosen, Peterson, and Williams all say he can.

We've gone round and round about this. Since the Martinez fight, I'm on your side:yep

And who said it only applies to Williams? That goes for ALL guys calling out bigger names. Margarito did that for YEARS despite beating more Ring Ranked WW's then the 4 lineal WW Champs (Spinks, Zab, Baldomir, Mayweahter). He kept defending his title if he could not get the big fights.

Holding a belt when there's 4-5 in each divisions greatly loses it's value. There's only one champ, and it was never Williams. But there were many greater fighters, more known and just as dangerous, yet who offered some kind of monetary value. That's why Williams never got any big fights. Especially when he hold the belt that keeps them from happening. He should have dropped the WBO the moment he won it.

And it's not big name prima donnas if they are fighting one another. Who's fault is it Paul was the odd man out? Why the **** does anyone need to throw Williams a bone when he's barely proven to belong with those other guys. If anyone was acting like a prima donna, it was Williams who thought he was a star right away and started calling out bigger names. He coulda have stayed at 147, got ranked, and beat all the other guys. Mitchell did that to earn his rematch w/ Tszyu at 140 despite Tszyu saying he would not fight him again.
